The short version
Everything should have a knowable origin.
When you read, look, or listen in Diya, you should be able to understand what the Diya team created, what comes from a named source, and when another service is providing the media.
Artwork
Diya’s icon, devotional backgrounds, onboarding illustrations, listening artwork, and widget backgrounds were created for the app. They are not anonymous stock images presented as sacred art.
Audio
Some recordings are included directly in Diya. Other listening selections play through YouTube, with the outside service kept visible so you know who is delivering the media.

These recordings are stored inside the app rather than pulled from a streaming service. Diya owns or has secured the rights needed to include the specific recordings and has checked the rights basis for the underlying works where applicable.
